Akwa-Ibom based evangelist, Victor Edet, has said that wearing wedding ring is a sin and it's capable of leading a person to hell. (Read More Here).

Evangelist Victor Edet is known for always criticising gospel and secular singers. After Chidinma Ekile gave her life to Christ and returned to gospel music, Victor Edet slammed her for wearing makeup and wearing jewellery. 

Now, he's saying that wedding rings are a sin and it would definitely land a person in hell. He therefore warned humans to beware and take caution. He supported his statement with a scripture from the Bible, Isaiah 3:16-26.

"Isaiah 3:22-23

[22]The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,

[23]The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails."

His statement reads:

"THERE'S Nowhere in the Bible God asked us to Wed with wedding Ring.

Wedding Ring is a Sin and it will Lead you to Hell, Humanity Beware.

Isaiah:3:16-26."
