Taking to her Twitter page, Christiane Amanpour, shared a video in which she made the announcement. Before she revealed her battle with cancer, she thanked her friends, coworkers, who have been there for her during her tough time with cancer.
She also revealed she just had a successful major surgery to remove it and she's currently undergoing 7 months chemotherapy. According to her, she says she has all the support in the world.
She says:
"I have had successful major surgery to remove it. And I'm now undergoing 7 months chemotherapy for the best possible long-term prognosis."
