Nigerian politician and former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the suspension of Twitter operations in Nigeria by the Federal Government yesternight. (Read More Here).


The suspension came after President Buhari's civil war tweet was deleted by the micro blogging application. Taking to his Twitter page, Femi Fani-Kayode says the suspension of Twitter by the FG has proved to the civilised world that they are weak and unstable. 

Femi Fani-Kayode also says that the suspension of Twitter is a grave abuse of power to deny the Nigerian people of their right to free speech. 

His statement reads: "The suspension of @Twitter by the FG has proved to the civilised world that they are weak, unstable, paranoid, insensitive, vindictive & delusional. It is a grave abuse of power & a perfidious, insidious & brazen attempt to deny the Nigerian people of their right to free speech."
