According to reports, EFCC officials stormed four estates in Osogbo to arrest alleged Yahoo boys (Internet fraudsters). The EFCC officials stormed Adetunji, Rintayo, Boluwaduro and Halleluyah Estates to arrest over 35 Yahoo boys.
Over 20 cars owned by the Yahoo boys were also confiscated by The EFCC officials. In the early hours of Tuesday, youths stormed the Government House in the state capital of Osun to protest against illegal arrest of boys in Osogbo.
We hope everything is sorted out amicably, so that there won't be another protest like that of End SARS, which took place in 2020. According to reports, the C.P of Osun state has addressed the angry youths. In one of the videos, the angry youths were screaming, "EFCC, Ole" - (Ole means thief).
