  • A 59-year-old woman from Dominican Republic, Mayra Alonzo, has spent over $1,000 (£710) in Santiago for her own fake burial. According to her, she wants to see or feel what it means to be dead.

Her funeral was organised the way "a real funeral ceremony" would have been. This is very weird, but educative at the same time if you ask me.

In the video, her friends and family members were seen with fake tears, shouting and fake emotions as they mourn Mayra Alonzo (who isn't truly dead). After the fake burial ceremony, Mayra Alonzo, says that she understands how it feels to be dead.

She talked about how her noses were blocked, which she referred to "uncomfortable." She also said that the "casket" is very comfortable to sleep in due to the pillow where the human head is placed.
