When he and other protesters were singing in solidarity against "insecurity" in Nigeria, suddenly, he (Sowore) started screaming and fell instantly on the ground.
It was later discovered that he had been shot in his right side of his stomach, which happens to be close to his hip.
He wrote: "Just been shit by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. #RevolutionNow Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! #BuhariMustGo."
