VIDEO: Femi Anikulapo-Kuti reveals why Fela wasn't part of 2021 Rock & Roll inductees

Rock & Rock Hall of Fame has announced eight (8) inductees but Nigeria's legendary singer and activist, Fel Anikulapo-Kuti wasn't picked. Nigerians are currently angry as they continue to drag the organisers of the honorary award.

6 (six) hours ago, the artistes or individuals who would be inducted into the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced by a worker in Cleveland, Ohio. He mentioned the names, but Fela's name wasn't mentioned despite being the second highest.

After the announcement, Fela's son, Femi Anikulapo-Kuti took to his social media to revealed a possible reason why his father wasn't picked or snubbed.

According to Femi, he says there's another voting pattern, and only the elected members of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame can take part. Which means that the votes from the elected members matter alot.

He said: "Apparently there’s another vote only members can take part in, and that’s what counts. So they kind of wasted our precious time, the positive side #Fela was trending and many who never heard of him got to hear his music and his story."
